Our plate beamsplitters are designed to split a beam of light into separate paths. The percentages of transmission, reflection and wavelength region can vary according to your application. The first surface is an all dielectric coating. The second surface is generally antireflection coated to minimize secondary reflections and ghosting. We can optimize your coating to meet your specification (R/T ratio, angle of incidence and wave length).
The
requirement for this plate beamsplitter was 25%R, 75%T for average polarization
@ 550nm on float @ 45°
This
customer required a 50/50 ±5% split at 1.06µ and greater
than 20 % reflection in the visible at 45° for average polarization on
BK-7.
